It is a privilege to welcome you to the campaign website for our Independent candidacy for Montana’s 2nd U.S. Congressional District.  Our hope is to provide an engaging forum to learn more about what we are trying to do, and share some ideas about how a successful Member of Congress may best serve the people of greater Montana. We invite you to look over our website, and to contact our campaign if you have any suggestions for improvement or perhaps a desire to become more involved.

GOOD NEWS! WE ARE NOW QUALIFIED FOR THE NOVEMBER, 2026, GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT!

Together, we collected nearly 13,000 signatures as part of the State-mandated petition process, and press releases by the Secretary of State’s office have shown that more than enough signatures have now been verified or “accepted” as valid. Thank you, Montana and the 2nd District!

The hurdle for ballot access was very high — once again, the 2025 Montana legislature made this even more difficult in a clear and intentional effort to preserve their own two-party duopoly, and to discourage independent or third-party candidates from engaging in the political process:

  • For the 2026 election cycle, independent candidates for the House of Representatives (MT-02) needed to submit in excess of 7,274 valid signatures of current registered voters within the congressional district. This is an exceptionally high hurdle; in comparison, the neighboring States of Idaho (500) and North Dakota (1000) require far fewer valid signatures for ballot access.

As our campaign grows, we look forward to traveling across our State to visit all of the counties within Montana’s 2nd Congressional District, and to meet with as many interested voters as possible. Stay tuned for news and other items of interest!

Thank you for your interest and kind support!
